Definitions

What is a magnet?
A magnet is a material or object that produces a magnetic field. The field itself is invisible, but it is responsible for the most notable property of a magnet, force. That force is able to pull ferromagnetic materials such as iron, and can repel or attract other magnets.

Meaning of "magnetized"
Every ferrimagnetic material is able to be magnetized. When a material is magnetized it creates its own persistent magnetic field.

What is magnetism?
Magnetism is a force around the magnet. A magnet can exert a force on another nearby magnet. Magnets have two poles - a north pole, and a south pole. The rules of magnetism is that two magnets will either attract or repel each other in the following way:
Like poles (N-N or S-S) repel
Unlike poles (N-S or S-N) attract
